If you are interested in a custom made bamboo rod, there are many tapers and lengths available for fly fishing rods and spinning rods. In addition, a wide variety of reel seat, wood inserts, cork handles, guide styles, rod wrapping thread type and colors are available to choose from; thus, if you have a specific rod style in mind please feel free to contact me.
I currently do not have a finished bamboo fly rod for sale. I am working on a couple of blond 8', 2pc, 2 tip, 6wt, fast action blanks, which may be customized if you are interested. Price for finished rods will be $800.00 each.
SOLD #101. This is a beautiful blond 7'6" 2pc, 1 tip, fast action, 5WT fly rod. The reel seat and ceramic stripper guide are in gold. The other hardware has been antiqued in black; this includes the hookkeeper, snake guides, s/n winding check and s/n ferrule. The wrappings are in red silk tipped with black. When varnished the red silk takes on a dark maroon color. The rod has been dipped three times for a beautiful clear finish and comes with a Stone Legacy divided rod case in the color spruce (green).
SOLD #102. This is an attractive but simple blond 7'6" 2pc, 1 tip, fast action, 4WT fly rod. All hardware has been antiqued in black; this includes the reel seat, hookkeeper, ceramic stripper, snake guides, s/n winding check and s/n ferrule. The wrappings are in red silk tipped with black. When varnished the red silk takes on a dark maroon color. The rod has been dipped three times for a beautiful clear finish and comes with a Stone Legacy divided rod case in the color spruce (green).
