I am based out of Boise, Idaho and have been fortunate to be able to enjoy the beautiful and exciting recreational opportunities the state has to offer for most of my life. Originally growing up in eastern Idaho, I have been around renowned fishing waters such as the upper Snake River, Henry's Lake, Silver Creek and Yellowstone Park's Firehole and Madison rivers during my formative years. After moving to western Idaho to attend college, I discovered other fishing opportunities such as the Salmon, Clearwater and South Fork of the Boise rivers. During these years I had always remember a trip to Jackson Hole, WY, when I was able to view my first bamboo fly rod at a local fly shop, from that day I had always wanted to own such a beautiful and magnificent fishing tool.
However, I was in my twenties at the time and starting my career and family; thus, bamboo fly fishing rods of that nature were not within my budget.
As the years went by I would still dream of owning such a rod. 
The fiberglass era past by and graphite rods were introduced but, I still had the desire to own a bamboo fly fishing rod. My idea of obtaining ownership changed, as I had learned to tie my own flies and gotten into wood working, now I felt I wanted to actually make my own!
I was eventually researching the idea and found it was a real possibility. I started gathering the tools and materials needed and I was then enjoying a new craft. I am now handcrafting the rods myself and producing quality bamboo fly rods. I offer these rods to you and hope you will enjoy and cherish these handcrafted rods as much as I do.
